iPhone
The iPhone is so incredible! Does everything but the dishes! It is an internet-enabled, multimedia mobile phone marketed by Apple Inc. This multi-touch screen can function as a camera, portable media player, visual voicemail, text messenger, and a telephone. The iPhone 16G was introduced in the United States on June 29, 2007. The iPhone 3G was introduced on July 11, 2008, includes faster 3G data speeds and assisted GPS (Global Positioning System).
This little sweetie weighs 4.8 oz and is 4.5 x 2.4 x .46 inches. The multi-touch screen is a color LCD designed for the user to drag a finger across the screen to scroll through the menu or zoom. It docks with USP and FireWire cables and has a headphone jack that incorporates a microphone.
The iPhone battery is not user-replaceable unlike most existing cellular phones. The battery in the original iPhone has been solder in; therefore, requiring a soldering iron to install the new battery. However, the iPhone 3G uses a different battery fitted with a connector. Neither iPhone model supports Flash or Java technology.
In the U.S., buying the iPhone requires signing a two-year provider contract with AT & T. Nevertheless, the requirement has been bypassed with custom software and modification of iTunes binary. Unlike the original, the 3G must be activated in the store.
